How To Wake Up Dull Skin

1. Exfoliate

Dry, flaky skin as well as remnants of makeup and SPF can build up over time, making skin appear dull. By exfoliatng 1-2x a week, you can slough off dead skin and impurities to reveal a brighter, more luminous complexion. Use a gentle exfoliant with natural abrasives or fruit enzymes to slough off dead skin and reveal a smooth, glowing complexion. Our Cell Renewing Microfoliant, $45 contains both for an effective exfoliation for even the most sensitive skin.

2. Tone up

Cleansing is an essential skincare step, but it can cause a pH imbalance that either makes skin too alkaline (very dry and tight) or too acidic (very oily). Use a toner after cleansing to restore pH balance while rejuvenating the skin for a healthy glow. We recommend the Rosewater infused Clarifying Toner, $35.

3. Moisture, moisture, moisture

We can’t say it enough - moisture is the key to a youthful, glowing complexion. Prep for makeup with a lightweight moisturizer with a built-in SPF (like the Daily Moisture SPF 30 Concentrate, $100) and apply a richer, more concentrated cream before bed (Night Replenishment Concentrate, $115) to wake up with smooth, radiant skin.
