Why is my moisturizer suddenly making my skin oily?

April 12, 2017 1 min read

During the Spring and Summer months, there's humidity in the air so while your skin is absorbing moisture from the atmosphere, a heavier moisturizer may become too heavy for most skin types.

While your skin does get a dose of hydration from the warmer climate, sweat and sun exposure actually dehydrate the skin, so moisturizer is still necessary, however, you can switch to a more lightweight formula with a built-in SPF. On days when the temperature changes greatly between morning and night (very common in the Spring months), replenish with a facial mist for an extra boost of hydration.
