The Grammy’s are almost here - time to admire our favorite celebrities and decide who wore what best! But did you know that their picture-perfect looks are more than just a team of makeup artists and hairstylists? To get complexion perfection, Hollywood stars turn to their dermatologists, often months in advance, to prep for awards season. We’re taking a dive into how celebrities get their skin red carpet ready with the top three cosmetic procedures.

    Botox

Need we say more? Since celebrities are examined under a microscope, botox is extremely effective to help combat wrinkles and excessive sweating by slowly freezing your muscles. Botox can be injected on your forehead, crows feet, bunny lines, or jawline, which helps to soften a heavy and pronounced jaw. The effects typically last three to four months before gradually wearing off.

    Sculptra

As we age, we lose fat in specific areas of the face, which can age our appearance - we begin to see a lack of structure, support, and volume, which leads to sagging, and a tired appearance. Sculptra acts as a powerful collagen stimulator and allows the tissue to volumize gradually. Sculptra is injected to bring volume back to hollowed areas of the face, such as the cheeks and temples - basically giving you a face lift without going under the knife!

    Laser Hair Removal

From low neckline dresses to deep slits - celebrities won't risk the camera catching any stubble, so most turn to laser hair removal months before the awards show. Laser hair removal works by sending out pulsed light on the skin to seek out the dark pigment (color) of hair and impairs the hair follicle which stops it from growing. It takes three to five treatments spaced five to eight weeks apart to see results, but some people need six treatments to smooth an area.
